This activity is part of the run task flow.

Add Someone to a Run Task

1. Select the run task you want to be tested

2. Click on "Add people or devices"

3. Select "People".

4. You can filter the list based on the user's organization. This is one of 3 options:

   • Testlio – all Testlio team members working on the project 

   • Network - all of our network freelancers who have been curated into the project team 

   • The workspace organization - this filter is super handy when it comes to assigning internal testing.

5. Select one or multiple people that you want to do the testing

6. Click "Add" to complete the task

What Happens Next?

• If you are making an internal allocation within the client's organization and the run is scheduled, the task is immediately shown under the notifications area for the user who you allocated the work. They can then access the test execution once the run starts from there.

• If you are inviting one of our freelance testers, they will be offered an invite to complete the work and upon acceptance will access the execution through their dashboard when the run starts.

• In any scenario, the tester declares the device that they use for testing at the beginning of their test execution session. They can choose which device to use. If you want to specify a device you want them to use, you need to add a device instead.
