Disclaimer: If you have used Segments previously in Runs, the workflow of using Groups in Run stays the same with the addition that you can apply secondary filters upon already selected Group. If you haven't used Segments previously, follow the guidelines below. 

Using Groups in Runs

When scheduling a Run, Groups make it simple to invite dedicated Testers to complete work in only a few clicks.

How to use Groups when scheduling a Run? 

Pre-conditions:

1. Run is created

2. Test plans are selected

Invite a Group within a Run

1. Select the test plan where you want to invite the Group.

2. Click "Add people or devices" -> "Devices".

3. In the dialog, select the preferred Group for this task.

4. Select the number of devices you want to be automatically picked from the preferred Group OR select the preferred devices manually.

   • To narrow down the criteria for this specific Run, you can apply secondary filters at top of the selected Group.

5. Click "Add".
